Part 2 - Search Engines - Consciousness to Unconsciousness

The study of the brain and nervous system is beginning to allow direct measurement of thoughts and feelings. – COLIN CAMERER ET AL., Behavioural Economists.
Human brain 1.3 kg (3lb) mass of extraordinarily complex neural circuitry, consisting of around 100 billion neurons, each with a 1000 connections and a firing rate of 200 calculations per second, this singular organ is responsible for your every move, behaviour and decision – and we’re only just starting to discover how it works with SEARCH ENGINES.
When you search e.g. on google, it shows “about 11900000 results in 0.51 seconds” – means search engine can produce so many results in such a less time. Now everyone wonders how? And why this is related to human brain?
Here we go – why I said search engines can be better than right now or I would say google which claims to be the best of all. Human brain does 200 million billion calculations per second. It takes only 300 milliseconds human mind to become subconsciously aware of our intention to act after the relevant areas of our brain become active. As I do not know that anyone has ever thought of human brain before designing the search engine. The only thing I can say after year’s observation on search engines that I would ask google to hire a neurosurgeon to improve their calculations per second as compare to google, human brain calculates 11900000 results only in 0.00000036 seconds only.

At Google, large-scale systems technology is all-important. In 2005, it indexed 8 billion Web pages. Meanwhile, its market share continues to soar. According to a recent ComScore Networks qSearch survey, Google's market share for search among U.S. Internet users reached 43% in April, compared with 28% for Yahoo and 12.9% for The Microsoft Network (MSN). And Google's market share is growing; a year ago, it was 36.5%. The same survey indicates that Americans conducted 6.6 billion searches online in April, up 4% from the previous month. Google sites led the pack with 2.9 billion search queries performed, followed by Yahoo sites (1.9 billion) and MSN-Microsoft (858 million), I would only say that there are so many things needs to work out to reach 200 million billion related searches per second as it also depends on data bank search engine has into its database.
I would say nothing is impossible; we just need to change our thinking which has never been imagined before as there is always a way out even from dead end.
Will catch you all in part 3 till then please share your feedbacks as more to come......
